Oh love- I’ll get you a brew. Sound familiar? A good cup of tea can be comforting, but it doesn’t magically fix the overwhelm, the masking, the trauma, or the tangled relationships that bring so many of us to therapy. What it can do is help us slow down, breathe, and start exploring things together in a way that feels safe, steady, and genuinely human.
I’m a person‑centred, trauma‑informed counsellor who shows up as a human, not a blank slate. I bring my personality, my lived experience, and my full attention into the room- because real connection heals.
I work mainly with ADHD and Autistic clients, no official diagnosis required. Together we look at your past and present through a neurodivergent lens, spotting what’s been missed, what’s been hard, and what might finally help. My approach is ND‑affirming, gentle, and grounded in clinical training (ADHD‑CCSP, ASDCS in progress) and lived experience.
I support people navigating trauma (including coercive control, physical and sexual abuse), PTSD/CPTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, health challenges, addiction recovery, and the messy, complicated stuff life throws at us.
Sessions with me are open‑ended: your slot is yours for as long as you want it. And comfort is non‑negotiable. Pyjamas? Fine. Info‑dump about a film on the way up the stairs? Please do. This is a space where you get to be fully you.
Alongside one‑to‑one therapy, I also run Biscuits, Tea & Parenting, a six‑session support group for ND parents, and I provide monthly wellbeing sessions for neurodivergent adults with community group Unity: One And All, because accessible community support matters.
If you feel a spark of “yes, this is my kind of therapist,” I’d love to hear from you.

Hi I'm Bex, I'm a specialist therapist working with children and young people aged 6 and up. I excel in building trusting, empowering relationships that enable young people to express themselves and develop a deeper understanding of their emotions and self awareness. My approach is to embark on the therapeutic journey together to give you back your power to enable you to move forward, gaining confidence and emotional control back in to your life. Each person is unique and individual which is how I approach each person with in sessions, as an individual, unique person, to meet your individual needs. Together we can build a trusting therapeutic relationship and work through your emotional distress at your own pace, exploring your thoughts and feelings

This is a space for people who’ve been through it. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the pressure, the silence, and the strength it takes to move forward , I’m here.
As well as training to work with children, I have completed extensive further training in Autism & ADHD, with a particular focus on understanding the unique and differing needs of both boys and girls. Building a trusting relationship is important to me and our therapy room is packed full of things for your child to engage with as they take part in therapy, including soft toys, colouring supplies, emotions cards and a large floor space.
My nursing background in addiction recovery enables me to offer compassionate support for those facing drug, alcohol and gambling issues. I can provide guidance and support to help you develop coping skills, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve your overall well-being.
Life is incredibly difficult for a lot of people right now, and financial troubles shouldn't get in the way of anyone accessing support!
I offer low rates for low income clients, students and student counsellors.
If you have any queries about the ADHD therapy, child and youth therapy, or domestic abuse support we provide, just get in touch. *Please note we operate as two separate businesses, each offering unique support, including trauma counselling and anxiety management, so make sure you are contacting the therapist you are wanting to work with.
